本アプリでは、利用者の操作、端末の許可設定、および利用する機能に応じて、以下の情報を取り扱う場合があります。
利用者および犬に関する情報
- 飼い主のニックネーム、プロフィール、氏名、生年月日、性別、プロフィール画像
- 犬の名前、犬種、誕生日、性別、目標、写真、ひとこと
- 健康メモ、ケア予定、リマインダー、しつけ・トレーニング記録
- 散歩・探検の日時、距離、時間、メモ、経路、目的地、写真
- 誕生日カード、アルバム、エクスポート用データ
位置情報
本アプリは、現在地周辺の天気表示、散歩記録、探検ナビゲーション、経路表示、バックグラウンドでの散歩・探検記録のために位置情報を利用します。位置情報は、利用者が端末の設定で許可した場合にのみ取得されます。
写真およびカメラ
本アプリは、犬のプロフィール画像、散歩・探検の記念写真、タイムライン投稿、家族共有、アルバム作成などのために、カメラまたは写真ライブラリの画像を取り扱う場合があります。
ヘルスケア情報
本アプリは、利用者が許可した場合、アプリで記録した散歩や探検を Apple ヘルスケアに「屋外ウォーキング」として保存します。本アプリはヘルスケア連携の状態確認および保存処理に必要な範囲でヘルスケアデータへアクセスします。
通知に関する情報
本アプリは、利用者が設定したリマインダーやアプリ内のお知らせを通知するため、端末の通知機能を利用します。
オンライン機能で取り扱う情報
タイムライン投稿、コメント、いいね、家族共有、オンライン同期を利用する場合、本アプリは以下の情報を外部サーバーに送信・保存する場合があります。
- 匿名認証により発行されるユーザーID
- タイムライン投稿の投稿者名、犬の名前、本文、画像、投稿日時
- コメントの投稿者名、本文、投稿日時
- いいねの情報
- 家族共有の招待コード、表示用ユーザーID、飼い主名、犬の名前
- 家族共有された散歩・探検の日時、距離、時間、経路座標、目的地、メモ、足あと色、写真、サムネイル
- 家族共有用に同期される犬、ケア、リマインダー、散歩、アルバム、トレーニング等のデータ
2. 利用目的
本アプリは、取得した情報を以下の目的で利用します。
- 犬のプロフィール、健康、ケア予定、散歩、探検、写真、アルバムを記録・表示するため
- 散歩・探検の距離、時間、経路、目的地を記録し、地図上に表示するため
- 現在地周辺の情報や天気を表示するため
- リマインダーや通知を提供するため
- 利用者が選択した場合に、記録を家族と共有・同期するため
- 利用者が投稿した場合に、タイムライン投稿、コメント、いいねを表示するため
- プレミアム機能の購入状態を確認し、機能制限を管理するため
- アプリの不具合調査、品質改善、不正利用防止、サポート対応のため
3. 情報の保存場所
本アプリの基本的な記録データは、利用者の端末内に保存されます。利用者がオンライン機能を利用した場合、タイムライン、家族共有、オンライン同期に必要な情報は Supabase が提供するクラウド基盤上に保存される場合があります。
アプリ内課金の購入・購読情報は、Apple が提供する StoreKit および App Store の仕組みにより処理されます。本アプリは、購入状態の確認に必要な情報を端末内で保持する場合があります。
4. 第三者提供および外部サービス
本アプリは、法令に基づく場合を除き、利用者本人の同意なく個人情報を第三者に販売することはありません。
ただし、本アプリの機能提供のため、以下の外部サービスが情報を取り扱う場合があります。
- Apple: App Store、StoreKit、ヘルスケア、通知、位置情報、写真、カメラ等のOS機能
- Supabase: 匿名認証、タイムライン、画像保存、家族共有、オンライン同期
外部サービスにおける情報の取扱いは、各サービス提供者のプライバシーポリシーおよび利用規約にも従います。
5. 公開・共有される情報
タイムラインに投稿した内容、投稿者名、犬の名前、画像、コメント、いいね数などは、他の利用者に表示される場合があります。投稿前に、個人を特定できる情報や公開したくない写真・位置情報が含まれていないか確認してください。
家族共有を利用した場合、招待コードを知って参加した家族メンバーに、共有対象の犬の情報、散歩・探検記録、経路、目的地、写真、メモ、リマインダー等が表示・同期される場合があります。招待コードは信頼できる相手にのみ共有してください。
6. 位置情報の取扱い
位置情報は、散歩・探検の記録中や現在地に関連する機能を利用する際に取得されます。バックグラウンドでの位置情報利用を許可している場合、散歩・探検の記録を継続するため、アプリが画面に表示されていない間も位置情報を取得する場合があります。
位置情報の取得は、端末の設定からいつでも許可・拒否・変更できます。位置情報を許可しない場合、一部の機能が利用できないことがあります。
7. 写真・カメラの取扱い
写真およびカメラは、利用者が撮影・選択・保存した場合にのみ利用されます。タイムライン投稿や家族共有に写真を含めた場合、その写真はオンライン上に送信・保存され、他の利用者または家族メンバーに表示される場合があります。
8. ヘルスケア情報の取扱い
ヘルスケア連携は任意です。利用者が許可した場合、本アプリで記録した散歩や探検を Apple ヘルスケアに保存します。ヘルスケアへのアクセス許可は、iOS の「ヘルスケア」アプリまたは端末設定からいつでも変更できます。
9. 通知の取扱い
通知は、リマインダーやアプリ内のお知らせを届けるために利用されます。通知の許可は、端末の設定からいつでも変更できます。
10. データの削除
端末内に保存されたデータは、アプリ内の削除操作、またはアプリのアンインストールにより削除できます。ただし、オンライン機能でサーバーに保存された投稿、コメント、画像、家族共有データ等は、端末内データの削除やアンインストールだけでは削除されない場合があります。
オンライン上のデータ削除を希望する場合は、本ポリシー末尾の問い合わせ先までご連絡ください。本人確認および対象データの確認ができた範囲で、合理的な期間内に対応します。
11. 安全管理
本アプリは、取り扱う情報の漏えい、滅失、毀損、不正アクセス等を防止するため、利用目的に応じて適切な安全管理に努めます。ただし、インターネット通信やクラウドサービスの性質上、完全な安全性を保証するものではありません。
12. 子どもの利用について
本アプリは、保護者の管理のもとで利用される場合を除き、子どもから意図的に個人情報を取得することを目的としていません。未成年の方が本アプリを利用する場合は、保護者の同意を得たうえで利用してください。
13. プライバシーポリシーの変更
本ポリシーは、法令の変更、機能追加、サービス内容の変更等に応じて改定される場合があります。重要な変更がある場合は、アプリ内表示、配布ページ、またはその他適切な方法でお知らせします。

This Privacy Policy explains how Cocoico (PawQuest) (the "App") handles user information. The App helps users record and manage walks, explorations, health notes, reminders, photos, family sharing, timeline posts, and related information about their dogs.
1. Information We Handle
Depending on the features you use, your device permissions, and the information you enter, the App may handle the following information.
Information About Users and Dogs
- Owner nickname, profile, name, date of birth, gender, and profile image
- Dog name, breed, birthday, gender, goals, photos, and short profile text
- Health notes, care schedules, reminders, training records, and related notes
- Walk and exploration dates, distance, duration, notes, routes, destinations, and photos
- Birthday cards, albums, and export data
Location Information
The App uses location information to show nearby weather, record walks, support exploration navigation, display routes, and continue walk or exploration tracking in the background. Location information is collected only when you grant permission through your device settings.
Photos and Camera
The App may handle photos or camera images for dog profile images, walk and exploration memories, timeline posts, family sharing, and album creation.
Health Information
If you grant permission, the App can save walks and explorations recorded in the App to Apple Health as outdoor walking workouts. The App accesses Health data only as necessary to check the Health integration status and save workout records.
Notifications
The App uses device notifications to deliver reminders and in-app announcements configured by the user.
Information Used by Online Features
When you use timeline posts, comments, likes, family sharing, or online sync, the App may send and store the following information on external servers.
- Anonymous user ID issued for authentication
- Timeline post author name, dog name, post body, images, and posting date
- Comment author name, comment body, and posting date
- Like information
- Family sharing invite code, display user ID, owner name, and dog names
- Shared walk and exploration date, distance, duration, route coordinates, destination, notes, footprint color, photos, and thumbnails
- Family sharing data for dogs, care records, reminders, walks, albums, training, and related data
2. Purposes of Use
The App uses the information above for the following purposes.
- To record and display dog profiles, health records, care schedules, walks, explorations, photos, and albums
- To record walk and exploration distance, duration, routes, and destinations, and display them on maps
- To show information and weather around the current location
- To provide reminders and notifications
- To share and sync records with family members when the user chooses to use family sharing
- To display timeline posts, comments, and likes when the user posts or interacts with timeline content
- To verify premium feature purchase status and manage feature limits
- To investigate issues, improve quality, prevent misuse, and respond to support inquiries
3. Where Information Is Stored
Basic records in the App are stored on the user's device. When online features are used, information required for timeline features, family sharing, and online sync may be stored on cloud infrastructure provided by Supabase.
In-app purchases and subscription information are processed through Apple's StoreKit and App Store systems. The App may store information required to confirm purchase status on the device.
4. Third-Party Services
The operator does not sell personal information to third parties without the user's consent, except as required by law.
However, the following external services may handle information as necessary to provide the App's features.
- Apple: App Store, StoreKit, Health, notifications, location services, photos, camera, and other operating system features
- Supabase: anonymous authentication, timeline features, image storage, family sharing, and online sync
The handling of information by external services is also subject to each service provider's privacy policy and terms.
5. Public and Shared Information
Timeline posts, author names, dog names, images, comments, like counts, and related information may be visible to other users. Please confirm before posting that the content does not include information or photos you do not want to share.
When family sharing is used, family members who join using the invite code may be able to view or sync shared dog information, walk and exploration records, routes, destinations, photos, notes, reminders, and related data. Please share invite codes only with trusted people.
6. Location Information
Location information is collected while recording walks or explorations and when using current-location-related features. If background location access is allowed, the App may collect location information even when it is not visible on screen in order to continue walk or exploration tracking.
You can allow, deny, or change location permissions at any time in your device settings. Some features may not be available if location permission is not granted.
7. Photos and Camera
Photos and camera access are used only when the user takes, selects, or saves photos. If photos are included in timeline posts or family sharing, those photos may be sent to and stored online and may be visible to other users or family members.
8. Health Information
Health integration is optional. If you grant permission, the App saves walks and explorations recorded in the App to Apple Health. You can change Health permissions at any time in the iOS Health app or device settings.
9. Notifications
Notifications are used to deliver reminders and in-app announcements. You can change notification permissions at any time in your device settings.
10. Data Deletion
Information stored on the device can be deleted through in-app deletion features or by uninstalling the App. However, posts, comments, images, family sharing data, and other information stored on servers through online features may not be deleted solely by deleting local data or uninstalling the App.
If you would like online data to be deleted, please contact us using the contact information below. We will respond within a reasonable period after confirming the requester and the target data.
11. Security
The App takes reasonable measures appropriate to the purpose of use to help prevent leakage, loss, damage, and unauthorized access to handled information. However, due to the nature of internet communications and cloud services, complete security cannot be guaranteed.
12. Children's Use
The App is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children except when used under parental supervision. Minors should use the App with the consent of a parent or guardian.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be revised due to changes in laws, added features, or changes in service content. Important changes will be announced in the App, on the distribution page, or by other appropriate means.
